The Variety Pack Advantage: Finding Your Perfect Micron Profile
The DABPRESS Variety Pack (dp-sy2045) is the ultimate "Discovery Kit" for both new and experienced extractors. Instead of committing to a single bulk pack, this kit provides a strategic selection of our most popular microns: 37µ, 90µ, 120µ, and 160µ. It allows you to experiment with different materials—from dry flower to bubble hash—and visually compare yields and clarity to find your professional standard.
Product Highlights & Core Features
- Complete 4-Micron Spectrum: Includes 5 pieces each of 37, 90, 120, and 160 microns (20 bags total) for comprehensive testing across various material types.
- Proprietary Anti-Burst Technology: Every bag features our Amazon Best Seller reinforced stitching. These seams are engineered to handle high-pressure hydraulic cycles without failing.
- Pre-Flipped Convenience: All bags are turned inside-out at the factory. This ensures the oil flows smoothly out of the proprietary seams and prevents loss in the corners.
- Flexible PETP Loading Sheets Included: Each pack comes with professional PETP "shoehorn" sheets to help you slide compressed pucks into the nylon mesh without friction.
- Perfect Calibration for Molds: These 2x4.5" bags are precisely sized to pair with our 30mm Cylinder Pre-press or 2x4" Rectangular Molds for a blowout-resistant fit.
- 100% Food-Grade Nylon: Dye-free, BPA-free, and heat-resistant up to 399°F, ensuring your experimental runs produce the purest results possible.
Expert Advice: The "Trial & Error" Strategy
Use this Variety Pack to build your own extraction database. Follow these professional guidelines:
- The Comparison Run: Press 5g of the same material using a 90µ bag and 5g using a 120µ bag. Compare the color (clarity) vs. the weight (yield) to master your specific cultivar.
- Hash vs. Flower: Use the 37µ exclusively for refined sifts (Hash/Kief). For Flower, start with 90µ as your baseline and move to 120µ if the oil is too viscous to escape.
- The "Stem Check" Habit: Never skip the basics. Remove all sharp stems; under 10 tons of pressure, a tiny stem will puncture even the strongest proprietary stitch.

The "Zero-Blowout" Protocol
- Hydration: Ensure your testing material is at 62% RH.
- The Thermal Prime: Snug the plates and wait 45-60 Seconds before applying full pressure. Let the mesh become pliable under the heat first.
- Gradual Pressure: Use slow, deliberate pumps. Listen to the material’s resistance to determine if you’ve chosen the right micron for the flow rate.
- Cleaning: Clean plates with 99% ISO alcohol between different micron tests to maintain accurate results.
