DABPRESS Steamroller 12 Commercial Rosin Press
15-Ton Max Pressure | 4x7" Commercial Dual Heat | 1,200W Quad-Power | Modular Design
The Steamroller 12 Advantage: Industrial Power for Commercial Yields
The Steamroller 12 is the flagship workhorse of the DABPRESS lineup, engineered specifically for high-volume production and maximum efficiency. Featuring a massive 4x7" heating surface and a reinforced 4-post industrial frame, this machine handles up to 28g of material with ease. Built with 100% Industrial-Grade Metal and zero plastic components, it delivers the structural integrity required for back-to-back commercial extractions without compromising purity.
Product Highlights & Core Features
- 1,200W Quad-Rod Heating System: Equipped with 4 independent 300W heating rods (2 per plate). This high-wattage configuration ensures lightning-fast heat-up times and perfect thermal recovery between commercial runs.
- Commercial-Scale 4x7" Platens: The expanded anodized surface area is optimized for large-batch extractions (14g to 28g), providing even heat distribution and massive flow space for high-efficiency output.
- Heavy-Duty 4-Post Architecture: Features 4 pieces of stainless steel chrome rods paired with Anodized 6061 Aluminum. This 4-post design ensures perfectly even pressure distribution across the 4x7" surface, preventing any frame flex or misalignment.
- Universal Modular Compatibility: Features a standard NPT 1/4" Female Coupler. We also include a FREE NPT 1/4" Male Coupler in the package to ensure seamless connection with DABPRESS dp-cp590g, Porta Power, or Strongway pumps.
- Superior Bamboo Thermal Barrier: Features high-performance natural bamboo insulators to protect hydraulic seals from 1,200W of heat, significantly extending the machine's commercial service life.
- Engineer Mode Protection: Includes built-in instructions for "Engineer Mode" to protect the controller from accidental lockouts, ensuring your production never stops.
Expert Advice: The Multi-Puck Efficiency Method
The Steamroller 12 is uniquely suited for the "Multi-Puck" technique. Instead of one large slab, try pressing 2 or 3 PM30S (30mm) pucks at the same time to maximize your results:
- Higher PSI Concentration: By pressing multiple small pucks, you focus the 12 tons of force onto a smaller total surface area, achieving higher Platter PSI and potentially increasing your yield.
- Better Color Preservation: Small pucks allow the rosin to travel a shorter distance to reach the parchment edge, reducing heat exposure and preserving that coveted faint amber color.
- Thermal Timing: For large 4x7" pucks, allow 60 seconds for "The Melt." For multiple PM30S pucks, 45 seconds of pre-heating is usually sufficient to begin a smooth, steady flow.

The "Zero-Blowout" Protocol
- Proper Prep: Ensure material is at 62% RH. If using the multi-puck method, space the pucks evenly across the 4x7" surface.
- The Melt: Close plates until they snugly hold the pucks. Wait 45-60 Seconds to liquefy before applying full force.
- Linear Compression: Use the external pump to ramp up pressure gradually. Never rush the final saturation point.
- Plate Care: Clean the plates while warm with 99% ISO alcohol to maintain the professional anodized finish.
Pro's Tip: Use a gauge-equipped pump (DABPRESS dp-cp590g) to dial in the exact PSI needed when running multiple PM30S pucks simultaneously.
